Flower shows

The Garden Club of Mount Desert hosts in-club flower shows at most meetings. The shows include horticulture, floral design and photography classes, and are judged by accredited judges from outside of our club. See sample schedules here.

Every few years, The Garden Club of Mount Desert organizes a GCA Flower Show in a location with extra space and accessibility, as these shows are open to the public. Classes in these larger shows include horticulture, floral design, photography and conservation. Hosting GCA Flower Shows fulfills the mission of both our club and the GCA by promoting horticulture, design and protection of resources — and by sharing this information with the general public.
